They hand pick all their own materials and designs, and their efforts show in the product. My mattress doesn't need a box spring, just a frame, and it's super comfortable. Simply Perfect. We have been shopping and pricing a king size mattress set for almost a year now, the one thing that brought us back to this company was the fact that in that year the price for the mattress we wanted had not changed. A family owned, American made product meant a lot to my husband and I for the simple fact that my husband is a disabled veteran. Our purchase day was easy, but delivery day was a nightmare. First they delivered the bed without the frame we thought we had purchased, our mistake, but we were told it was on the bill of sale and at the time of purchase we didn't double check, understandibly our mistake. The problem was when we called the store and told, it is what it is, your frame isn't on the purchase so if you want one come up here and buy one. I suppose since they already had my money for the bed, they didn't need to bother with customer service after that. After several phone calls we were finally offerred 10% off our pillows which we had intended to purchase that following weekend when they came in. We were also told by the delivery guys that we could not buy the frame off the truck, but when we told Steve the owner he called them and they told him we said we didnt want it and he took their word. So after spending 1200 dollars for a new mattress, you're expecting us to pay full price for your mistake and buy pillows for 180 dollars? Oh I'm sorry 162 dollars with your 10% off. And then when we don't seemed pleased with that offer, instead of asking what you can do to make it better Steve basically accused us of wanting something free when we've repeatedly said we don't! Worst customer service I have ever experienced! The man basically called me a liar to my face and said it was my fault for not saying I wanted the frame, I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure saying "we'll take that frame" means we want the frame!

The team at Mattress Crafters provided great service from the time I walked into the store, through the prompt delivery of my mattress. They do an awesome job as a family owned, local business.

Our daughter is a student at the University of Dayton. On move in day at her apartment we realized she was going to need a new bed. Mattress Crafter's gave us a good deal and delivered same day to accomodate her. We were very happy with their customer service.

I bought a mattress from Mattress Crafters about 3 years ago and I can't say how much I have enjoyed that purchase. The mattress I bought from Mattress Crafters has ruined me from other mattresses. I have trouble going on vacations because I know there is no way I will be sleeping on as a comfortable mattress as the one I got at Mattress Crafters.

I purchased a mattress from Mattress Crafters six months ago and love it! I recommend them to all my patients who suffer from chronic neck and back pain. Stay away from this retailer. I purchased 2 mattress and box spring sets from Mattress Crafters. The metal surrounding the mattress was only covered by a thin piece of material, not the padding which is normal on an innerspring mattress. It made bruises on my leg along with a tingling numb feeling. I tried both sets with the same results. The mattress we tried on the showroom floor felt perfect the several times we tried it. The metal was covered with padding. I phoned the company to report these problems, the employee said I needed to speak with the owner, he took my phone number, the owner never phoned. I phoned again after 3 weeks and spoke to Mr LaSelle. I explained the problem, the numb feeling, bruises etc. He argued with me that the metal can always be felt and there was no defect. I have tried out several other innerspring mattresses since this happened to see if they all have this problem. None of the mattresses had metal protruding. I kept repeating the problem to Mr LaSelle and he kept demanding there wasn't a defect. Finally, Mr LaSelle said if I would bring the mattress' into the store, he would look at them or charge me a $59 charge each piece to and from their store. I explained I thought that was expensive since I wasn't responsible for the defect. He was firm. When I told him I should have bought my mattress from a large reputable store such as Morris or Elder Beerman's, he agreed saying they were reputable and he wasn't, then hung up. I was so surprised by his comment. I would rather put the money I would waste paying their pick up and delivery charges on a new set from a company that stands behind their product.
