Mr. Hartleyâ€™s practice has emphasized legal services to condemning authorities in Oklahoma and Missouri. He has been directly responsible for the acquisition, through eminent domain, of over 800 parcels of land. Condemnation proceeding have been filed by Mr. Hartley on these parcels in twenty counties in Oklahoma as well as the Northern and Eastern Federal District Courts of Oklahoma for property owned by restricted Indians. He is a veteran of over 75 jury trials to determine just compensation. Representative clients include The Oklahoma Department of Transportation, The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, Tulsa Development Authority, KAMO Power, The Grand River Dam Authority, Empire District Electric Company and the Cities of Broken Arrow and Vinita, Oklahoma.

Jot has been a licensed practicing attorney since 1977. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma in 1977 and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University in 1974.
