Overall our experience was great. The price matched the quality. The responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism outstanding. As soon as I contacted the company, I got a call and right away an appointment to which Lisette showed up on time. She was then joined by Andy, the owner, who immediately made a design of what we wanted and gave us a quote. Andy came back twice to our house to answer questions and doubts we had, to clarify some details: he showed up each time we called him on perfect time. We were pleased by the final design, assured that our awning was going to be completed by a certain date so we signed the contract. And Andy performed. We are extremely content by the result. It looks beautiful! His installers worked hard and fast and were always very accommodating to any change we requested last minute. We are now planning another awning for the side of the house and will have Sunshield Awnings & Shades do it.

The worst experience that we ever had. Breach of contract. Pergola installation not delivered. Contract signed Nov 18, 2017. Contract states installation lead time from permit issue date 8-10 weeks. 10 weeks expired Apr 23, 2018. No pergola installed. During this all time: No one contacted us about update/ progress. We patiently waited until January. Started to worry and began following up. First, called the office to hear the message: phone number is no longer in service. Called our sales rep Patrick. He answered, confirmed that office number is legit and try again. In the meantime he asked not to call him since he has health issues and will be out of town for 3 months. Tried office number again and got administrator, when asked to be transferred to manager got reply that they only can take a message and someone will call back. The person that called back was kind enough to share the owner Andy phone number. Called Andy. Based on our experience Andy's voice mail box was full from Jan thru Apr 26,2018. During our experience we were dealing with 3 people: Nuria who is responsible for permit/ inspections. Andy who is responsible for operations. Maggie who is sitting in the office and takes messages. She will take message. You will get NO update. You will call back to check on update just to hear "I don't know. I gave your message to Andy" It's a vicious circle. A little bit about the company work manners. When holes were drilled for poles, broken concrete was put on the grass. Workers left without cleaning up. It took more than a month for the company to come and clean up. As a result our grass is dead in those spots. The holes for poles were made sticking out of our regular deck. We asked not to pour the cement outside of the deck edges. Result: cement was poured outside of the deck edges. Another thing is cement was poured half way. Nuria advised it has to be that way until final inspection is done. We stuck with rainy season coming. When it rains it fills those holes with water which is good breeding source for mosquitoes. We requested our pergola to be white. For framing the company installed brown pole. When spoke to Andy, he said: we will paint it white. One of the poles has a crack. On Apr 23, 2018 was 10 weeks. Our pergola not installed. Called the office on Apr 26, 2018. Spoke to Maggie. Asked for Andy to call us back. No call. On Apr 27, 2018 called back to follow up. As usual, Maggie said " I don't know. I gave your message to Andy". Asked again for Andy to call back to discuss the situation. The phone call was at 10.06 AM. No call back. Tried Andy's number at 12.26 PM. To the HUGE surprise his voice mail was clean and we were able to leave a message. Another HUGE surprise that Andy sent a text at 12.26 PM asking to call later. Result was the usual: He didn't call back.

BUYER BEWARE. This is the worst company in terms of customer service. For 6 months now, I have been calling this company to repair a retractable screen they installed. This particular screen has been a problem since they installed it. I also called for service since one of the other screens was getting stuck on the way down. Every time I call they tell me I am on the “wait” list and someone will come out soon. I spent almost $7k on these screens and it is my biggest regret. I have been persistent about calling for service/repair and still receive same excuse. At one point, I spoke to the owner, Andy Echavaria, and he told me he would send someone out. We made an appointment for his people to come out on a Thursday. I took off work that day. No one ever showed up or called. I lost a day worth of work to be home for no reason. That was very unprofessional of them and I am beyond frustrated. I just called again before writing this review and same excuse from the receptionist (Leslie). They don't have the manpower needed for these repair calls. Their only focus is installations. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They should no longer be in business. Today, I finally made the time to send a complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and post this review.

If you are looking to hire this company BEWARE and pray that your screens don’t break. If they do, good luck trying to get them out there to fix them. I recently researched this company online and found some bad reviews from other customers in my same situation. It's unfortunate to see I am not alone. My recommendation is …. STAY AWAY from this company and use someone else.

Please do not make any kind of business with this people!!! Just nine months after having our awning installed we discovered a hole in the fabric due to a defect in the metal structure which ended up opening this hole in the fabric. We have been trying to get these people coming to our house for the last three weeks with no success at all!! They are simply not answering our multiple calls now. Every time we are lucky enough to talk to Andy (the owner) he says that the next day he will be there... We called the sales representative that sold us the product and she told us she left the company some months ago due to the many problems she was facing with unhappy customers.
