A man named Ryan came to my house in Allegan, MI a few days ago to sell products from American Gold Label. He was informed that we did not have enough money in our bank account right then to purchase anything. We told him multiple times and tried a few other things to make him go away, but he wouldn't quit. He assured us multiple times that if we wrote a check it would be held for a couple of days so we would have time to transfer money into the account. We finally relented and purchased a box. Two hours later, when we went to the bank, we learned that he had already cashed the check, causing our balance to drop below zero and resulting in an overdraft fee. Be careful of what they tell you, it could cost you money.
