        I was given a price of $2000 t...

        I was given a price of $2000 to make repairs to pass inspection. Also some verbal tactics were used such as the car is not safe to drive and wasn't I aware of the problems when I brought it in. (No I was not) That amount seemed high considering some major repairs had been made just 5 weeks before. I took the car to a mechanic I had done business with before with the list of repairs that Wark's said needed to be done. The mechanic fixed all of them and the price was $713. It pays to get another estimate.

        I am the service manager at Wark's. Truth is, what you call a tactic, is just what you may not want to hear. No one wants to hear the car is not safe to drive and needs major repairs. Seems your original mechanic should have caught these issues with the other "major repair". Some people are just not as thorough as I am. I am glad you got the car fixed. I am glad you got a good price. I cannot speak for what kind of parts were installed on your car. All my work is backed by a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. Not only do I want you and your family safe, but my family drives on the same roads as you, so yes, I will always make sure I am thorough so that the roads are safe for your family...and mine.
