The French American School of Puget Sound is an elementary institution that offers a variety of educational and recreational opportunities for more than 250 students. Also known as FASPS, the school offers classes inn French and English for children in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, writing, language, math, history and science. Founded in 1955, its facilities include a library, playgrounds and classrooms. The school s DVDs. It offers summer camps that include various activities, such as cooking, scavenger hunts, and more arts and crafts. The school provides a sport program that includes basketball, baseball and soccer. The French American School of Puget Sound is accredited by the French Ministry of Education and by the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools.
