Please do not rent from these people!! They don't take your maintenance request serious. You will have to wait forever to get things fixed. When they do come to fix things it is half done. AVOID REVID REALTY AT ALL COST!!!

I would rather die slowly of pancreatic cancer than continue to deal with Revid realty. If you have the ability to deal with the devil himself, you will get a better deal. Never in my life have I dealt with such an unprofessional and incompetent group of petulant five year old's. Forget ever getting anything fixed, It took over a week to even get water into the house. We where forced to stay in a hotel, then refused compensation. Was not allowed an ac for the first four months simply because they didn't think we needed one yet, regardless of what was written in the lease. We pay an outrageous amount of rent for the neighborhood we live in, considering the nightly gun fire and loss of more machinery from the property than i care to count. Machinery that was chained down i might add. The owner is a jerk and the staff couldn't care less about their customers if they where paid to. The only way we have ever gotten any real work down here was by calling code enforcement. Again, several times.

STAY AWAY! I rarely get mad enough to go public... well done, Revid you've motivate me. According to the owners it's unprofessional to ask for your money back on double-charged work.

We always suspected overcharging, and it became clear by the end. We had repair costs taken out of rent checks in 4 of the first 5 months, which was suspicious. Then they replaced freon in the AC unit 3 times, before they thought it might be a freon leak...1 time I can understand, but 3??

Then our tenant moved out, and it got bad. We re-did the floors, which is normal upkeep. We have Revid tear up carpet and use the hard wood already underneath it. We pay $450 to take up the carpet, $850 to repair & re-finish the hardwood.

Since we took up carpet, the kitchen floor is now at a different level from the living room. We ask why they didn't put down a threshold to smooth the transition. The next month they take $120 out of escrow and put down a threshold. We never agreed to pay extra - a floor quote should include necessary things like smoothing un-level surfaces, right? Well, Revid never supplied the full quote only the price tag.

After the carpet work is done, we notice our carport support beam has been hit by a truck and bent. We ask about it - Revid says it wasn't the carpet workers that did it. They offered to repair it at a cost of $900 (we have since found someone to do it for $450).

Last, we get a $450 charge for "re-key, clean up, and touch-up paint". Well they eventually get around to re-keying the property after we ask repeatedly over a month span. But no cleaning, and no paint work. About a month later, we get another $130 charge for touch-up paint on the ceiling.

The worst is that they just take the money out of your rent check or escrow, and you have to work to get it back. So we ask for a refund on the touch-up paint (should be included in the original $450) charge. We also ask for a refund on the threshold that we never agreed would be an additional charge above and beyond our floor quote.

Here's the response from the owner - according to Chris Brown (not the wife-beater, but the slum lord) we agreed to the very charges we're disputing and it's unprofessional to ask for your money back:

"Prep estimates were given, agreed upon, work performed and work paid for. The threshold was not in any estimate. Melissa asked us to do it so we did and that is why you were charged. As for the water stain this was a request by the new tenants that was with in our authority to fix per the management agreement especially since painting ceilings was not it the prep estimate. We did that work and billed you for it. There is no other way I can explain this to you. Again no refund we will be given. And our work load is relevant when certain clients manipulate our time for extremely unreasonable and unprofessional requests. We have heard your opinion and just disagree. The matter is dead and we will not comment on it anymore."

Run away from this company... Do not rent from them... You will regret it... I promise. They are all over midtown ,but if you want a good realtor try Daniel Coulturi... he's a private owner who's really nice and fixes things quickly. Look in Craigs list or see if you can rent from an owner... but stay away from these devils!! Listen...

If I could give this company 0s I would. They are awful! CROOKED!!! They do not manage their property and do not fix sh** and are very, very rude. My rent was over $1500 and I lived in an condo with terrible plumbing and prejudice neighbors. They would stare at my kids and I whenever we came outside... after so long we stopped going outside much... I was ready to move as soon as I moved there. Those same neighbors came into my yard, and left a note on my door when I was away from home and left me a nasty note...basically they wanted my black kids and I out of their neighborhood...I called the police on them the day for trespassing and harassment and they told police they had a right to come into my gate and walk around in my yard....Really?? throughout our stay there...they harassed me and then went to tell Revid I broke a gate.. and they believed them. No proof. Took their word and added the charge to my rent!!! That is illegal. I had to take them to court and they removed it, but found some bullsh** to charge me for to take out of my deposit.

My upstairs neighbor was arrested two nights ago and charged with 5 counts of felony, including possession of a deadly weapon with intent to commit a crime and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. When I went to Revid's office to address it with the property manager, Liz Simmons, she said, "We'll take it into consideration." When I asked to speak with the owner, she said, "The owners don't speak with tenants." Do not risk your life and well-being by renting with Revid.
