Publix Super Markets

Customer service is lacking at the deli its not about the queue nor is it all of the people but it does make a difference to have customer interaction. I suppose I'm asking to much to want to hear "how would you like your meat sliced". The enthusiasm is minimal but i suppose that is what you get when you work at a grocery store? Publix used to be a pleasure. You cant only be nice to the nice, engage your customers and you get more back. The isles can be poorly front faced which will leave you wondering where the product is you are looking for (not sure they are supposed to front face during peak hours). Cashier was the most enjoyable of the entire experience her name was Morgan or Megan wore glasses curly hair "wore the most important accessory in customer service, a smile." Then employees are having nice little chat with each other rather than engaging the customers a good morning would suffice. Better luck next time.

PUBLIX SHOULD TREAT THEIR COSTUMERS WITH RESPECT. I WAS AT THE VEGETABLE SECTION WITH MY HUSBAND YESTERDAY, SUNDAY, MAY 18, 2008, AND AN OLD LADY EMPLOYEE FROM THE DELI SECTION CAME AND ASKED ME IF I WAS OKAY, AND I SAID I WAS COLD THAT'S WHY I WAS LEANING TOWARDS MY HUSBAND TO GET SOME WARMTH. I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY NICE FOR HER COMING TO ASK ME IF I WAS OK, UNTIL SHE TOLD ME THESE WORDS - "THAT'S NOT A VERY LADY-LIKE TO ACT IN PUBLIC!" THAT WAS THE MOST DISGUSTING INSULT I HAVE EVER HEARD FROM AN OLD LADY. I HAVE A RESPECT FOR OLD LADIES THAT'S WHY INSTEAD OF GOING BACK AND ARGUE BECAUSE OF THE INSULT AND HUMILIATION I GOT FROM HER, I WENT TO TALK TO THE MANAGER INSTEAD AND REPORTED ABOUT HER BEHAVIOR. MY HUSBAND AND I ALWAYS GO AND SHOP THERE FOR YEARS, BUT FROM NOW ON, I DON'T EVEN FEEL COMFORTABLE SHOPPING THERE ANYMORE AFTER I HAD THAT INSULT FROM A PUBLIX EMPLOYEE!!!!
