Buyer Beware

Their posted store "policy" is 'No cash refunds. Store credit only.' When I brought an external harddrive case back that would not allow my friend's laptop harddrive to fit properly, the technician forced one of theirs in and mocked me, "It looks like it works fine." When I explained that the glue in the casing was preventing the harddrive from fitting properly, the technician just looked dumbfoundedly at the casing and repeated the pedestrian demonstration, "No it didn't." When I asked for the refund the clerk recites the "policy" and claims it was "used". In my opinion, "No refunds. Store credit only." is simply a way of saying, "We will keep your money no matter what." The friend who needed the casing had no need of other things from this store and now has a $20+ sheet of paper that is useless to her. Buyer beware. If you take it home and the product is faulty, you could be simply out the money.
