        It was a very disappointing dinner. Worst decission we ever made for New Year's Eve.

        We were very disappointed in our New Years Eve Dinner. For what we had to pay (including an added on gratuity-which we could not express our disappointment), the service was so slow. We had to wait at least 1/2 just to get the soup, which was served cold to warm, another 1/2 hr. to get the salad which was excellent, and almost 45 min. to get the entre which was so cold that some had to be sent back. The rest of us would liked to have sent ours back but heated up lobster tail turns into rubber. It is a wonder we didn't get sick. When the entre was served, only four of us got served and then it was another 15 min. till the next four were served. We had to wait till all were served before we got the "warm" drawn butter for our lobster. The facility was beautiful and I was really anticipating a lovely evening with excellent food and terrific service....what a huge disappointment. Would I recommend the Purple Iris to anyone?....NO. Will I return? NO Big disappointment.
