Don’t waste your money at this place. I brought my antique chair to Davis Upholstery and was giving a quote that was above my budget,but I dealt with his anyway. So when the work was done I sent a delivery person to pick up my chair. I thought it was weird that I dropped the chair off at his shop but had to pick it up at his house about a mile away. The chair was broken when it arrived back at my home. After speaking with the delivery person and Davis. It was evident that the chair was broken at Davis Upholstery. Further Davis was trying to blame the damage on the delivery person. I wish this site would let me upload the photos. So you could see the damage could not have occured on the short trip in a minivan from his house to mine. I requested that we settle this amiably and he refused to discuss this any further with me.

What a disappointing experience. I have a nice leather set ( sofa,loveseat,chair and ottoman ) that needed 1 the back brace fixed on the sofa and 2 all of the cushions refilled. Davis did a reasonable job on the back brace repair and did install ( I presume ) foam in the seat cushions, but neglected to do the ottoman and the backs. Biggest mistake I made was paying him the balance before all the work was finished. He returned the cushions and the ( unfinished ) ottoman and said he’d be back to pick up the sofa to add fiber to the back cushions. 4 times I either came home from work early or left late to be home for pickup and he stood me up all 4 times. I stopped by his shop yesterday and he said to my face that he will be here this morning and didn’t show up. I guess I’ll get my first experience with small claims court.

Rate a big 0. I went to this place to see if they did cars upholstery the owner said yes. He came and looked at my car and quote me and asked for half the deposit $900 and said he would have the car done by April because I needed it for a car show. He never started my car and it’s been two months already. Every time I called him he had so many excuses that the material didn’t come in this and that. I finally called the Marlboro police to force him to give my deposit back. He refused and said bring the car back Monday. He had some other guy. I guess he don’t do upholstery at all just paints furniture. Well the guy quit on him so my car was left incomplete again. Finally he had this other guy start my car and was installed but half way. All the parts were not put back not even the floor rug was fitted correctly and my car seats are missing bolts. He never called to keep me informed and all he did was lie lie lie. Now three months of stress. Rip me off

Not a professional. Uses wrong material and doesn't stand by his work. Very poor workmanship. Makes promises that he doesn't keep as he is not a man of his word. His prices aren't any better than anybody else. Save yourself the headache and go someplace else. I now have to file a claim with the BBB.
