Marion Middle School offers special classes in art, music, physical education, technology, agriculture, family studies and foreign languages. The school s core curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and language arts. It serves students in grades six through eight. Marion Middle School also provides special education programs for students with mental and physical disabilities. The school offers membership for environmental science, guitar, hurricane, library, math, science and sign language clubs. It also operates the Girls Athletic Association (GAA) and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Marion Middle School supports several sports activities, such as volleyball, wrestling, basketball, football, and track and field. Located in Marion, Va., the school is a part of Smyth County Schools.
