Chef's Table & Fresh Market

Stopped by the Chef’ Table and Fresh Market for the first time yesterday. I purchased the scallops, beef tenderloin, soup and a salad. Hands down the best meat and seafood I have ever had. The soup was incredible and plenty for both my husband and I for dinner.

I am telling everyone I know about this place in West Cobb!! Our neighborhood needed a place that we can go to get this quality rather than driving to Whole Foods in East Cobb.

The service was exceptional and the owner gave me helpful hints on how to cook the items I purchased.

Thank you Chef’s Table and Fresh Market for opening a great store in our neighborhood!!! I will be back!!

I purchased the garlic hummus, a bowl of tomato basil soup, and southwest chicken with mango salsa. The hummus was terrible. I didn't eat it because it was grainy, dry and didn't have much flavor. The soup was very good, but for $3, it wasn't even a bowlful. It was only 1/2 cup which was enough to be an appetizer and not a meal. The overriding flavor in the soup was black pepper. I didn't taste any basil. The chicken was pretty good, but not great. I was not impressed with the food at all. The owner, Michael, was there when I went in. I was the only one there besides him and he did not offer to help me in any way. When I asked him some questions, he was short and didn't seem to want to be bothered. He wasn't busy, so I am not sure why he did not seem to want my business. It is a good idea for a business, but with the lack of customer service and the taste of the food, sadly, I don't see it staying open much longer.

This is a wonderful place for FRESH seafood and specialty meats. The chef is very friendly and offers advise on how to prepare the meats and seafood I purchase. The Chef’s Table also offers pre-cooked meals that are delicious. I would highly recommend this place. I love to support small businesses in the community. The owners are extremely friendly, each time I visit they have a smile on their face and greet me as soon as I enter the store. Food is great and service is exceptional!!!
