The West Coast Sports Medicine Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable organization that is governed by medical, law, business and community leaders. Founded in 1994, it provides high school students with the opportunity to participate in interscholastic sports. The foundation conducts athletic training sessions that help in the reduction and mitigation of injuries. It offers a range of sessions that sport-related accident health insurance products and policies. The foundation conducts various community outreach programs to high schools and also provides medical supplies . It offers a sports medicine youth program that serves more than 12,500 students in over 20 high schools throughout Los Angeles County, Calif. In addition, the organization conducts camps for football, basketball, soccer, weight training, strength and conditioning. The West Coast Sports Medicine Foundation is located in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
