        Pella has poor customer servic...

        Pella has poor customer service and totally lacks in after sale support, expecially when the product has been bought through Lowes.



        I had problems with the pella door, it took three emails before pella would even address that replacement parts were available with the closing cylinder, and the customer service personnel were very defensive in their replies.



        However, do not try to buy the replacement parts at lowes for the door that was bought there, I called the store and none were available.



        So being stuck with the people at pella, I wrote them. Instead of taking a customer, explaining all of the options along with the reasoning why a particular product is designed to work the way it does, they just treat you like dirt and assume that you will not write back after you have received their first email.



        I will not be buying pella products again based on the poor after sales service and inferior skills of the customer service people.



        My only question at this point for pella is did a successful graduation from a drug rehab program with guaranteed job placement qualify your people for jobs at customer service? I ask because they do not even address me by my name, that is how little pella values my business.
