The Party Nook

Great family, friendly store. Very clean and smells good. It's well organized for the locations size. As a teacher at one of the local schools, I asked if maybe the owner could make a presentation on small business for one of my business classes or maybe we could possibly do a field day at the store. I think the students would enjoy it and learn about the small business process. Anyway, welcome to the neighborhood Party Nook! I enjoyed speaking with the owner. I went to Party Nook looking for help with decorations for a wedding. I wanted the decorations to have an expensive look without the expensive price tag...so it was important for everything to be put together well. The balloon arrangement looked exquisite. The team at Party Nook gave me just what I was looking for within budget. The wedding was beautiful...I mean absolutely beautiful. Just wanted to say, "Thanks."

I spoke with the customer regarding Party Nook's refund policy. Store policy is posted on the wall by the register for all to see and at the bottom of each customer's receipt of purchase. The customer received store credit for returned items. The customer was treated professionally and Party Nook store cameras revealed no misconduct on Party Nook's employee's part. Thank you, Management.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review for the Party Nook. My mom and I went into the store to purchase baby shower supplies. As we were purchasing, we asked the cashier the return policy because we were not sure of the number of attendees yet. The cashier stated "3 days." We thought that was pretty stringent, but decided to proceed because Party Nook is a small business and being a small business owner myself, I wanted to throw support their way. Three days later, my mom returns to the store to make a few returns as we went to Party City right after Party Nook that day. We didn't find everything we needed at Part Nook. Mom was informed that she could only get a store credit. She spoke with the owner over the phone. The owner was very rude. I reached out to the owner through a FaceBook message and was subsequently blocked from speaking with her ever again. I have learned my lesson and I hope you have too.

I have visited Party Nook at Galveston Court. I love the customer service and relaxed atmosphere of their store. Their prices are great and items are priced just under most large Party Store retail chains. I understand they are a small business and with a three day return for store credit policy, I think this is reasonable and the norm for most small businesses. A wonderful experience and I will be returning.
