Bolling Garage

I took my truck in for a head gasket after 8 days got it back. The fan was rubbing on the shroud from being tucked inside of itself and took out my radiator. I replaced the radiator myself. He said bring it in and if we can't find anything wrong with it he would replace the damaged fan and repay me for the radiator. They had it for 2 days trying to diagnose the issue. He came up with they couldn't warranty a 200k clutch fan and it was my fan that had failed. The outside of the shroud was chewed up and could not give me a answer as to why it was like that. I paid well over what a diesel shop would of charged me for this job as well. After the fact I hear other stories and wished someone would of shared their experience with them so I would of known.
