Carrolls Pets

We have done business with Shelly and her family for several years. They are like family to us. When you enter the door, they greet you and immediately ask to help. Today's experience led to purchasing a test kit for checking the phosphate (off the charts) in our tanks which is being treated as I write this. Tropical, gold & all fish are good for one's blood pressure. We find our aquariums are therapeutic. If you are stressed, might I suggest you start with one small fantail goldfish in a bowl? They learn who you are and respond to you especially with food in your fingers. Shelly and staff will help you if you ask. It will do you a world of good.

I love this pet store I've been going to that pet store every scene I was little my family was good friends with. The owner he was a caring and loving man and loved his animals

I can't seem to understand why anyone could possibly have anything bad to say about this pet store. They are the best of the best! I have always gotten a friendly hello, all my questions answered, and a very friendly come again. I even get great service on a phone conversation. I recommend this to store to anyone! Thanks to Carroll and his wife!

I shop a lot at this pet store and can tell you it is great. Carroll never seems to amaze me. He always makes me and my girls laugh. He's very sociable and helps with any and all questions we may have. All my friends shop with him because he has the lowest prices on the best products. He sold me an aquarium almost $200 cheaper than the other store in town! And guess what?.....His fish don't die like Walmarts do. The groomer is also amazing. I believe they said she use to work at Pet Smart grooming. I take my dogs to her. Heather is her name. She's so friendly and professional.



I highly suggest this pet store to anyone!!! Kudo's to you Carroll for having the longest self owned pet store in lumberton. Oh, that must make you an old man Carroll! Lol Hahaha!!! Thanks for all these years of helping with your knowledge and may there be many, many more!

My husband and I were looking for a specific type of pet and decited to check this store. They did, indead have the type of pet we were looking for and we were willing to buy. We asked several questions about how to take care of this pet and the manager or owner told us that he would answer all of our questions when we purchase the pet!!! That was rude and very impolite! Of course we left without making a purchase (this was a close to $250 loss for this shop). However, there was a young male employee who was very friendly and helpful. I guess the owner does not care about making sales and keeping customers :(

Wasn't very impressed with this Pet Shop. Sales associates could have been nicer and more patient. Felt they could have been more imformant about questions asked. When asked if there was another shop in town they said no. When the phone book says yes. Don't think this is very professional. The overall apperance of the store was ok it was clean and things were neat other than that oh well.
