Founded in 1902, Goodwill Industries International is a network of 165 community-based agencies across the United States and Canada with affiliates in 13 other countries. Based in Lufkin, Texas, it offers job training and employment services, job placement opportunities as well as post-employment support to the youth, seniors, veterans, immigrants, people with disabilities, criminal backgrounds and other specialized needs. Goodwill Industries International also creates jobs by contracting with businesses and government to provide a range of commercial services, including packaging/assembly, food services, temporary services, custodial work and grounds keeping.
