GRS Roofing

When our home was damaged by hail this past spring, we called Lee Cottongim, the owner of GRS roofing, because we were a past customer of his, and had referred business to him. We felt we Trusted him. Big Mistake! Safeco, our ins. co. awarded us $4.73/sq ft based on THEIR numbers. Cottongim wanted to put cheap builder grade siding, Royal Crest carried in stock at MBS @$.49/sq ft, and we guess pocket the rest. Cottongim said he only works for the ins. $ an uses this siding on all of his jobs because it can be SNIPPED and installed QUICKLY! Of course we rejected the cheap stuff, and asked for pricing

on Royal Haven, a high quality insulated siding that our ins. co. was paying for. All we got from Cottongim were complaints on how expensive this would be, and how difficult to install. He had over 2 months to bid this out and never did. We FIRED him for nonperformance, and demanded our ~$6600 deposit back immediately. He refused and told us "It's not my protocol to let customers out of Deals, if I did, I wouldn't be in business very long"! Of course we would never recommend him with your money or work needed, however, if you need a heist performed, he's pretty good at that!!!!!
