Westport Road Church Of Christ

A group of caring people who truly take the word "family" to heart. I love worshiping with these people!

Wonder people that are together in fellowship about God. I don't know who the person was who commented in 08, but whatever she experienced, it wasn't this church. We just did a community drive for kids going back to school and more. This is a wonderful family to be apart of.

Through my experience with the Westport Road Church of Christ, they are very quick to voice their opinions, whether you ask for them or not. I visited the church for a while and was very turned off by their "I'm better than you" attitudes. I gave an offering weekly, and then when I stumbled upon hard times, I was chided for not being a "faithful steward". The lady in the office (the wife of one of the ministers) was very cold and when I followed up a week later to ask if I would be able to get help (under $75) she told me I would have to keep waiting, because the woman who runs the benevolence ministry is "a professional business woman who goes to work every day". (I was only out of work because of downsizing)

Based on this experience, I have concluded that this church does not desire to serve their community. They exist to judge others and win a contest for being the snottiest church in Kentuckiana.

(By the way, less than an hour later, another church pledged this small amount AND I received a job offer for the career of my dreams! I now regularly volunteer at this new church)
