Teeth Cleaning
Regular teeth cleaning by a dental professional is recommended to remove tarter that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing, especially in areas that are difficult for a patient to reach on his /her own. Professional cleaning includes tooth scaling, tooth polishing, and debridement if necessary. We also offer Nitrous Oxide to ease any dental anxiety.
Fluoride Treatment
Cavities develop when plaque is not consistently removed from around the teeth and gums. Due to inadequate oral hygiene practices and dietary habits, children are especially prone to developing cavities. As an added level of protection against tooth decay in children, our office typically recommends periodic fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
Dental Sealants
Dental fillings are the material that "fills" the spaces in your teeth left by tooth decay to restore teeth. A dental filling is also used to repair cracks and broken areas in your teeth, and to repair areas that have been worn down. Sealants are a clear or white plastic material placed in the grooves of the biting surfaces of back teeth. Back teeth have deep grooves and pits that are very difficult to keep clean. Plaque, which is a nearly invisible film of bacteria and food, collects in these grooves.
Space Maintainers
Sometimes, due to tooth decay or a traumatic injury, a child may lose a primary tooth early, before the permanent one underneath is ready to come into place. When this happens, our dentist will consider the best way to hold the space left by the baby tooth in order to maintain a clear path for the succeeding adult tooth. Sometimes a small dental appliance, known as a space maintainer, is required to make sure the permanent tooth does not become crowded out of the dental arch or impacted by shifting adjacent teeth.

Dr. Tenrrero has over 35 years of dental experience, spanning multiple countries, specialties, and thousands of patients. Born in Cuba, she received her first dental degree in 1986 from the University of Santiago de Cuba. After graduating, she worked as a General Dentist and Clinical Instructor. She furthered her degree with additional training from the University of Santiago de Cuba in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and become an Oral Surgeon in 1996.
Tooth Extractions
Treatment for dental problems such as a toothache or a fractured tooth can vary. It all depends on the extent of the damage caused by the decay or trauma. Care may involve the placement of a new dental filling, dental bonding, or a larger restoration such as a crown to rebuild the tooth's form and function. If the damage has reached the tooth's nerve and vital inner tissues, you may need root canal treatment to save your natural tooth. Root canal treatment is a highly effective procedure with a greater than 95% success rate. Although we provide leading-edge care and do all we can to help save your tooth, in some situations a dental extraction is required. While losing a tooth can feel a little overwhelming, there's no reason for despair.
Bone Grafting
Several years after having earned his first dental diploma in 1991 from the Lviv Medical Institute of Ukraine, Dr. Bogdan Graboviy immigrated to the United States with his family in search of a better life. Within his pursuit for the American Dream, Dr. Graboviy re-entered dental school at UofL in order to continue his passion for practicing dentistry. Dr. Graboviy excelled during his tenure at UofL. He was a staple name on the Dean’s List as well as a researcher and presenter at several local and international research convention venues. Upon graduation, Dr. Graboviy never stopped learning or improving his skills. He received certification in Laser and Invisalign treatment along with additional training in surgical implant placement and bone grafting from the Midwest Implant Institute and Zimmer Implant Institute. Dr. Graboviy is currently recognized as a Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and holds countless Continued Education hours.
