Building next door but dug 25 foot trench in my yard. We couldn't believe it! Their plans called for the new house and the regraded lot to drain, not just into our yard, but literally through our yard. They dug a 25 foot long, four feet deep trench through the back of our property, without saying a thing to us. No letter, no call, no knock on the door. And then they had the audacity to act frustrated because we wanted them to change their drainage plan, put our dirt back, and stay off our property. All we kept hearing was, "I assumed so-and-so talked with you." In the end they pinned it on the new owners, "Well Mr. so-and-so was going to speak with you about that." Over a week later and the trench is still there; I'm afraid I will have to hire a lawyer to get them to undo the damage they have done.
