Gans & Smith Insurance Agency Inc

I deeded my home over to my daughter a few weeks ago. They are Navy and living in Washington state but are working on moving here in a few months. She called Gans and Smith this morning and was treated very rudely. They acted as if "why are you calling" then when she was transfered to another lady she got the same tone, and a too busy for you attitude. My daughter asked her why she could not get a quote from them that she had quotes from other agencies and the lady said then you should be fine. My daughter hung up on her in tears and disbelief what she had just gone through with these people. My daughter is a Navy vet, her husband is a Senior Chief in the Navy and out on a ship. She is dealing with 4 children alone and working on getting this home insured. She did get with State Farm and they were totally and completely different and were eager to help her and she is now insured through them. So yes she is ok now. I would never recommend Gans and Smith due to the way the office staff had treated my daughter this morning and making her day much harder for her. It is hard enough being without your husband for months on end as a Navy Spouse and then harder to be treated with such a demeaning manner as this company did.
