I am a current student, which enjoys classes at longs peak. The owner of this business is very sweet, although very much professional. She wants me to succeed in cosmetology as she wants her business to thrive. My instructor is very nice and knowledgeable. There is no reason for the negative reviews that they have received. Let's be honest when we write a review, not tear down a business.

I recently transferred to Longs Peak Academy Beauty School. I have never been happier! I was at my old school for almost a year and was miserable. LPA now has a new director and management. The school is super clean and as a new member of the student council we are doing our best as responsible adults and as a great student body to maintain the schools reputation and high standards. I am being trained by top notch teachers that have more access to learning material and new trends than my previous school. LPA is very understanding for life situation for all of their students. The management at LPA is very understanding and helpful in all financial situations also. I could never be happier and I am glad I transferred! I am so honored to be a student of Longs Peak Academy Beauty School.

I am currently a student up at LPA. I have been there for Four months and am due to graduate soon. I have been reading some of the reveiws that my fellow students have been posting and i would love to object. First of all the towels ARE NOT washed together. nor on cold. If i could id post a pic of the signs and posters telling us what to do around the laundry room. The Instructors are hard on us. As well they should be... Rude? anything but. if we did not have anybody to point out what we were doing wrong how would we learn anything? Now as far as the owner Debbie.... she is there every thursday for our school meeting. she comes around and talks to clients and is just a joy to be around. I had alott happen in my personal life just after i started attending LPA i missed a good amount of time and debbie and Pat worked with me so much and helped me through my rough patch. I have nothing bad to say about Lpa It is amazing and i reffer everybody i speak to to come and join our AMAZING team

Owner is a liar and does not follow what she expects the students to follow. They preach one thing and do not practice it themselves. There are some good instructors but they are prejudiced against some students. The school itself is very dirty and the sanitation practices are not very good. This is not a school you want to attend if you want a quality education!

I posted a review (the TRUTH) about this school and I guess the business decided to take it off of Dex since they get a say in it. And all of a sudden, I see 3 positive reviews about the school. COINCIDENCE? I bet not!Bad management and very bad/mean owner. I wish the state punishes them for unfair business practices to give students a chance to get quality education for the money that they are paying.I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE AS A CUSTOMER OR A STUDENT!

I totally love going to this school. As a client I think it is a great deal. I hope to pass the word to my friends. They keep up on all the latest trends, such as feathers and it is great to bring little girls for their glamor girls package.

Been there, seen and heard students talking about things I didn;t care to hear about. Glad the instructors try to go around and keep them busy so I don't have to listen to gossip. Happy to be a client.

I just started skin program there and GUESS WHAT? they wash the hair towels and the pedicure/manicure altogether in COLD WATER.I CANT IMAGINE BEING A CUSTOMER, PAYING FOR A SERVICE AND HAVING A TOWEL ON MY FACE THAT HAS BEEN WASHED WITH THE TOWELS USED TO TAKE FILTH OUT OF THEIR TOES AND NAILS. OWNER REFUSES TO HAVE THEM WASHED SEPARATELY BECAUSE THATS TOO MUCH WASTE OF ELECTRICITY AND HOT WATER!Oh and for STUDENTS, I heard they are getting sued by a former student for misleading and misguiding her and deceiving her of all her savings. BEWARE!!!!

Its an absolute nightmare for students. BEWARE! I agree with the reviews written by a student here, its so true!!!!! BAD MANAGEMENT!

I am so glad that someone already mentioned that the students are not treated or being trusted by the teachers. Pat, Concha are very rude and students are stuck there once they pay the tuition. I wonder who wrote the review about the new owners. I went there as a student for 8 months and even I did not know where did the owner "debbie" graduated from. Plus she is hardly there to see whats going on. I will not suggest any other student to go there and waste their money, you will be highly disappointed by the management. ITS A NIGHTMARE FOR THE STUDENTS!

If you are planning to be a student there, THINK TWICE! They will book you back to back for appointments and when it comes to hours, if you dont keep a track yourself you are screwed. Owner comes every tuesdays and thursdays only to show her face. I doubt it if she even knows how much is the tuition at her institute. Bad Management!

What a great experience!! The Students are well trained and are supervised by wonderful Instructors. The instructor Pat had my back when it came to picking a great color for my hair! The Student was very comfortable with the whole process. I have been there a few times and had no bad experiences with any of the Students or Instructors. I couldn't be happier if I paid $75 for the service. I will be a steady customer!

I've been going to Longs Peak Academy for nearly 10 years now. I think the new owners are doing a wonderful job. The students seem to appreciate the fact that the new owner graduated from Vidal Sassoons in Santa Monica, CA and really knows her stuff. She is passionate and enthusiastic which has caught on with the students and staff alike. I've always thought the value and quality couldn't be beat. I'm a big fan

I had my hair colored and trim at LPA. The high school students and adult students that are there are professional and are a lot of fun to be around. They made the school a comfortable and inviting place to be. They have extremely good prices and the students are well trained here and have never done anything wrong the many times that I have gone there. There was only one negative side to this school. One of the instructers; Ibelieve her name is Pat? She's a large woman with redish-gold hair and wears glasses. Usually the woman at the front desk. She treated the students do rudely. She was mean and sarcastic towards them. They are students, but you don't have to trest them like they know nothing. When I was checking out with her. I told her what a wonderful job my girl did on my hair and she just made a sarcastic joke to me. i though that was rather rude. That just made it seem like they did not trust their students.

The women at the school are great! They are hard working students and most seem to do a good job. Although some services do seem to take longer just because they are still learning and really want to do a good job. You can't beat the prices! The estheticians are AWESOME! I would highly recommend a spa treatment there! I have had several services done and these are by far the best and way cheaper than you pay at a regular day spa. The women that are doing these are really serious about their futures.

I went to LPA to get some highlights, boy was that a mistake. The girl did not listen to what I wanted and I ended up with blond splotches all over my hair ( I look like a cheetah now). She also ruined my sweater my spilling hair dye on it. To top it off, I have a second degree burn on my head where she burned me with the blow dryer. I do not recommend anyone going there to get their hair done.

I have been going to LPA for a long time. The services provided are excellent at a fraction of the cost of expensive salons or aestetician businesses. The students are very professional and friendly.
