Lamplighter Drive In Cleaners

My son who is in the Navy dropped off his uniforms to be pressed before his next destination. His father uses Lamplifhter all the time and we trusted them.
When my son went to pick up his uniforms, he tried to pay and was informed they had been taken care of. They took care of the bill.
Wow....
He was so shocked. His dad's reply, "that's who they are, that's why I go there"

Lamplighter Cleaners is a bunch of crooks. I dropped off a sports jacket to get dry cleaned and was told it was $6. When I went to pick it up, they told me it was now $10 for some BS explanation. They should have told me that when I dropped it off, because I would have shopped around. Then as I'm leaving, they say "We hope to see you again". I think not.

Awful business.

We have been taking our cleaning here for the past six years. The prices are reasonable and they always manage a next day turn around for us if we need it, even on very busy days when I bring cleaning later in the day. I have had a couple of alterations done, and they have always done a good job. As a matter of fact, I commissioned the owners wife to custom make my rather complicated wedding dress and it was gorgeous! The only time a price was misquoted is when I had what I thought was going to be a simple alteration, but it turned out to be a bit more, and of course they called me before they did the work. I would rather pay a little extra to have it done correctly than try and cut corners and have my garments improperly tailored, so I didn't mind. Over all, very happy with the service.
