Be careful! This place is all ...

Be careful! This place is all about making money, no real care or love for animals!

After almost a year of daycare at Camp Bow Wow LIC I decided to take a long vacation and leave my dog boarding with them. When I returned my dog had a serious allergy on his belly, his skin was inflamated and nearlly bleeding, no one at the camp seemed to have noticed or cared to address the case. I took it to the vet and the vet said my dog had an allergy to the product they use to clean their place. After 5 weeks treating with antibiotics the dog has recovered. I went back to leave the dog for daycare, I explained what happened and they said they use strong hospital chemicals on their floor and that they would write a note on my file to no longer use it on my dog's cabin next time. So I left the dog there for day care and 2 hrs later I get a call from my vet that my dog was attacked by another dog inside the Campbowwow LIC , and was taken there with open injuries on 2 legs and that it needed to have anesthesia and several stitches.... I called the camp and they said they were NOT liable for this, that my dog was NOT A VICTIM since he was the one who started humping the other dog!!! What???? The owner Steve Neagus wouldn't even listen to me over the phone... trying to interrupt while I tried to tell him about my previous experiences on that place... If you love your dog DO NOT TAKE IT TO CAMP BOW WOW LIC! My dog is now under care on a local VET. The owner of the other dog offered to pay what made me wonder... They do take aggressive dogs on camp and risk the life of our dogs...The INTERVIEW process is nothing but BS. Any dog will be allowed in regardless of them being aggressive or not, as long as you can pay their rates. My dog doesn't know how to bite, so the dog who attacked him is probably still playing in their camp putting all of your dogs in risk of being attacked. Say NO to camp bow wow!

Greatest Dog Care Facility Around!

My husband & I started taking our baby Miniature Schnauzer named "Starbuck" to Camp Bow Wow in June and became instantly hooked. Our favorite part of Camp Bow Wow are the real time web cameras that allow you to track your dog in any of the camper rooms affectionately titled, "Howlston St.", "Verdog Ave.", "Tribarka", etc., so while we're vacationing we're totally secure knowing that we can check-in on our baby at any time to watch him playing and having fun with other dogs his size (they separate the pups by size which is equally fantastic)!

Also, the first time we took our baby to Camp Bow Wow for his complimentary daycare interview we were concerned that he may not acclimate as well as the other dogs b/c of his separation anxiety and tendency to be guard-like and fearful of others. Since dropping Starbuck off at Bow Wow, we've noticed a big change in his attitude. When he sees other dogs on the street he willingly wags his tail and wants to kiss and play. He's still possessive of course but, we've noticed it's a lot less concerning now that he's socializing more.

Definitely take your dog to Bow Wow and ask for Steve. Steve and his team are a great bunch of folks and I trust them completely!

Best Doggie Daycare Around

My wife and I rescued a Weimaraner about a year and a half ago. Our dog Bentley is the most precious thing in the world to us. At times our schedules make it impossible to leave him at home during the day. When this happens we do not hesitate to bring him to Camp Bow wow. The daycare services there are top notch. The staff is very professional and they absolutely love dogs. Bentley is always excited to arrive and we can rest assured that he will be safe and happy for the entire day.

We have seen the competition in the neighborhood for dog watching services and Camp Bow Wow simply blows them out of the water. We can give Bow Wow our highest recommendation without thinking twice.

Camp Bow Wow is the Best!

We absolutely love Camp Bow Wow! Stephen and his amazing staff make my 3 year old Rotti feel like he's one of the family. My pup has been going to the day camp and boarding facility for the past two plus years and I couldn’t imagine our lives without the camp’s services. It’s especially important for rottweilers to have consistent socialization and the camp provides this important activity for my loving dog. Also, due to the fact that I’m such an overprotective doggie mom, I like the fact that I can login to their camper cams during the day to check on my pooch. And as soon as we turn the corner of the street heading toward the facility, my boy gets so excited in the car that I have to hurry to park to let him out before he explodes with excitement. It gives me such a feeling of comfort to be constantly told by the staff how much they love my dog and to know that he’s safe and well taken care of while in their possession. Camp Bow Wow is the best in my book and I would recommend them to anyone.
