The price here is not that expensive they offer family platters for the whole family.

I was trying to decide where t...

I was trying to decide where to eat after taking my 5 year old son to the Aquarium of the Pacific. There are so many choices along Shoreline drive, but we finally decided upon Famous Dave's. I am usually very skeptical of large, chain-like BBQ spots as they do not have the authenticity the little places usually have. However, I had to say, I was very impressed. I had the brisket with a side of mac&cheese which was great and my girlfriend had the "award winning" St. Louis Ribs which were smokey, juicy and very flavorful. I would recommend that anyone who goes here try the ribs first....

Had the meals not been so large, we would have tried their bread pudding but we simply could not eat another bite and still had food to take home.

If you are in the Long Beach area and looking for something different and filling, definitely check out Famous Dave's.
