Britton Automotive Group Inc

This is absolutely the most UNPROFESSIONAL dealership that I have ever been in contact with.

I contacted them about a 2 Door Tahoe and asked about a trade-in. They were asking over $11,000 ABOVE market value for the Tahoe.

I was trading in a lowered 2006 Silverado Crew Cab and was asked if I was wanting to trade even. I told the salesman that I would be willing to trade even as long as the Tahoe was in good mechanical and cosmetic condition, with no rust and a clean title. I immediately received the following message from Britt Trollinger:

"...the 96 we had was a show truck with 229k and we got $20k for it two weeks ago . This green one has been restored with overhauled envy and transmission and $8000 worth of receipts that we have done to it not including the paint work . It is a show truck as well , but anyways your truck is from up north and rusted and just an average every day truck but good look to you"

So, this 'salesman' automatically assumed that my truck had rust just because the truck was from up North. HELLO! I live in Kentucky. Apparently, it has been a while since he looked at a map. Spoiler: Kentucky is NOT North! He did not even ask any questions about it. He just made the assumption that my truck was 'average' and that his Tahoe was superior and a 'show truck'. lol The Tahoe that I emailed about was just a regular 2 Door Tahoe with a two tone paint job and generic 20" wheels. No custom paint, no custom interior, no billet wheels, no air ride, etc. Yet, he 'thinks' it is a show truck.

Had Mr. Trollinger just messaged and said that he was not interested, that would have been fine. But, do not put my truck down when you know absolutely NOTHING about it, nor have you seen it.

This business just lost a potential customer because Mr. Trollinger thinks he knows everything.

I encourage ANYONE who is potentially in the market for a vehicle, to please DO NOT go to Britton Automotive Group. If you do go there, please DO NOT deal with Britt Trollinger. The guy is clueless. He is VERY unprofessional and thinks his vehicles are MUCH better than yours!
