I bought over $2,700 worth of cabinetry from Kingway. Upon opening one box (of many), I found the door panel was SEVERELY scratched, white plastered, and then lacquered over... only the door was damaged. The rest of the contents were undamaged. This was obviously done at the manufacturer, or it wouldn't have the lacquer over it. I hung the cabinet, figuring that Kingway would replace the door (that was my mistake). And, I continued my kitchen project, because I wanted to see if any other boxes were damaged. No others were damaged. On my very next day off (Saturday) I made Kingway aware of the problem, and they said they'd replace it if I brought it in and showed it to them. I made the 1.5 hour drive with the door panel. Upon arrival, the employees were EXTREMELY RUDE to me and my girlfriend, to the point where they were practically yelling at and insulting us. They accused us of causing the damage, and refused to acknowledge that the scratches and the plastering that filled the scratches were obviously lacquered over... which means that it couldn't have been done by me. In addition to that, they continuously talked among themselves in Chinese (I assume), so that we couldn't tell what they were saying. Their customer service was beyond horrible.

Their only concession was that they'd replace the box if I would give them the entire cabinet back. In addition to the 3 hours of extra drive-time, I would have to remove the cabinet... but, this is a suspended cabinet (held in by other cabinets... basically, it's not directly attached to a wall). I couldn't just remove it without removing the rest of my cabinetry. That's about 2.5 days worth of work that would have to be undone and redone.

After spending almost $10,000 on a kitchen remodel... you'd too would want everything perfect. I wish I could show you a picture of the damage and the proof that they refused to acknowledge. The scratches look like someone took a screwdriver or key to them, and repeatedly dug into it. The scratches are just over 7" long, and just over an inch at the widest point. A major eye-sore.



Please save yourself the aggravation. Do not buy from these people.
