Lindenwood Union Church

Organized in 1848 and 1868 when the first stucture was built, the present structure was built in 1909 with upgrades in 1969, etc. Many families have been with the church for 150 years. Ben Loyd was the minister for many years. He was also active in the Stillman Valley schools and the National Educators Association.



John Countryman was active in the formation of the church; Alcock, Burch, Carmichael, and Somers families have been very supportive.



Herod Stocking and Rufus Phelps were community leaders.
