Overall good experience. Rent is really cheap & you pay electric thats it cant beat that. Cameras inside and out of building. Cold AC. Manager is really fair and a understanding. Maintenance guy always there to fix things. Only reason i moved out is because i found a house

Too bad for me I did not heed the advise DRE 1974 gave. I saw this and asked the manager about roaches. He said that was in the front building and not in the back where we were moving into. Big Fat Lie. The week after we moved in (July 8th we stayed overnight for the first time) we started seeing bugs. I never saw roaches before so I wasn't sure what they were. The neighbor asked me if we had roaches and I said yes but was worried about other things (like being robbed during my second week here). Yeah we were playing outside and they came in and helped themselves to the computer and x-boxes. How awful to feel so violated after moving into a new home. I guess you can't even trust the maintenance man, because he was the only person who knew where the computer was because he was the only one to come all the way into our house. Any other thief would have also taken the other electronics that were sittin around. We now do not leave the apartment as a family anymore(That reminds me that the manager said he rented to mostly families). When we do to go visit a sick family member we take all our electronics with us. We are now moving. My youngest son has been sick since the day we moved in. We aren't safe here. We lived here three months, only because we didn't have the money to move because we had to get our car fixed. The tires replaced because someone was letting the air out or something and we needed to fix the muffler and the struts (could only afford one new strut). Also the security cameras Do Not Work. We were told the security cameras were down for maintenance when our apartment was broken into and our belongings stolen. I had asked for a copy of the report for the maintenance of the cameras, twice, and never received a call back. Even before we moved in the manager said the cameras worked.

I took this apartment on 2/1/14. This winter was so bad I didn't actually get completely moved in until about March 1st. 1 week before I came home to a "roach prevention" note on my door with instructions and a date they were coming to spray. I thought this was a red flag but I packed me and my cat up an we left for the day (3/5/14) to get away from that toxic crap. 1 week later I saw the 1st roach in my bedroom. 2 days later I go to make myself some rice and I knocked the bag over and it spilled onto my counter, there must've been at least 30 baby or smaller roaches that came crawling out of the bag and some dead ones. This rice was bought and brought in after the spray but had been opened. I called the property management and they came out again and sprayed. Mind you I have to leave my house, pack up my cat, pull everything out of my closets drawers etc. This past week on 3 different occasions I have killed a roach, what's scary is that they were all in different life cycles, one very little one, one like the size that came out of the rice bag and another adult roach. Can anyone say infestation? That worst part of it all after talking to my neighbor that has lived here for 3 years, it's always been a problem. That's why half of the apartments are empty. Kevin Dillion from the Detroit and Partner at the Phoenix Az branch of Hendricks Berkadia and Kevin's nephew Sean rent these apartments and dupe people into signing leases knowing that they are uninhabitable.
