Gourmet China Buffet

I have never been so sick in my life. I ate here Friday, the day after Thanksgiving 2007. Not too long after my meal (fish, greenbeans, chicken w/ jalapenos) I started to feel sick. By the time 7pm hit I was vomiting and did again 2 more times up until midnight. My husband also was voimiting but not nearly as bad as me. Then Saturday the vomiting stopped but the extreme diarrhea (gross) started and lasted thru Sunday morning. I can't say for sure if it was food poisoning because I don't have insurance to go to the hospital but after eating here it made me and my husband very sick, so sick I will NEVER eat here again. I do remember that the only thing that was similar on our plates was the fish. While I was eating my fish I remember taking a few bites then the next bite was cold, as if it was not cooked throughly. It makes me sick just thinking about it. Thank god the kids did not eat the fish.

I have gone to this place twice. The first time, the food was cold on the buffet and it was 12:30 (usually a busy time for lunch so the food should have been hot and fresh but was not). The second time I went, it was dinner time around 6pm. This time the food was cold again and very poor service, i must have waited 10 minutes before i was able to get my water re-filled. After i was done eating, it also took around 10 minutes to get my check...very poor service. I should also note there were only a few people in there at the time so service should not have been a problem. very lazy staff. I have gone to several Chinese places and this has got to be the worst place here in lincoln. I recommend you either save your money or go to a different place.

I was in on the eve of August 25th and everything on the buffet was cold at 5:00 PM. They did nothing to make it right and know little about good business to know how bad news travels fast. I will never eat there again. Had they made the slightest effort to any small discount I would have been satisfied. They never even came around to tables like other esataurants to ask how things were. I would not reccomend these kind of shabby business tactics to anyone.
