Cottonwood Apartments

I been here about a week and half, and I am already wishing I could go back in time and slap myself for even looking at this place. We made the mistake of not looking at the buildings before signed, we were under a real time crunch with my husbands job and took what was available in the time frame we had, worse mistake ever. Here's the list, starting with the apartment itself, the carpets reek of urine, there is paint literally everywhere, on the carpets, on the fixtures, on and in all of the outlets, I have just gotten the last kitchen box unpacked when I get notice that they have to come stray for roaches, the didn't even bother to clean the kitchen I found old food under the stove and behind the fridge. I have a list of things that need to be fixed and the maintenance guy just came by the spray and he asked what needed to be fixed and when I told him he response was that everything was on a list and he would get to it when he could, in the meantime we wont even walk barefoot in the house because you can feel the nasty grime on the carpet.the sicks and tubs leak and the faucets are loose. and that's not even to touch the broken play equipment or the state of the apartments out side or the general lack of regard from the neighbors.
