Dental Examination
Drs Handy & Handy are committed to ensuring that each & every person who enters their office for an orthodontic evaluation obtains a thorough understanding of any orthodontic problems they may have and the available treatment options to address their problems. For this reason, there is NO CHARGE for the new patient exam and initial consultation, diagnostic records (x-rays, digital photos & digital scan), nor the follow-up treatment planning consultation with Dr. Handy.

Dr. Thom and Dr. Gordon are committed to providing the very highest level of clinical care to their patients. Their practice facilities and equipment are state-of-the-art and always improving. they use the most advanced materials & appliances available today and are constantly modifying current procedures and incorporating new, cutting edge techniques into their clinical practice. As orthodontic specialists, they have dedicated their entire working lives exclusively to the study and practice of orthodontics. they have successfully treated most every type of orthodontic problem there is, from skeletal growth and development issues in children and adolescents, to substantial dental malocclusions, to cleft lip and other craniofacial anomalies, to a growing number of uniquely adult orthodontic problems. Through analysis of their own cases and through study & participation in orthodontic continuing education courses, both in North Carolina and around the country, Drs. Handy & Handy strive to remain at the top of their profession through constant learning and improvement.

Dr. Gordon is a member of good standing of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the American College of Dentists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the North Carolina Dental Society & the Forsyth County Dental Society. He has completed the rigorous orthodontic course of study at the Charles H. Tweed Foundation for International Research in Tucson, Arizona and the Specialist Course at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida. Dr. Gordon has also been certified in the use of the Invisalign tooth movement system. He is past president of the Forsyth County Dental Society, past president of the Davidson County Dental Society, co-founder & orthodontic director of the Greater Forsyth Study Club, & the only orthodontic specialist in the Winston Salem Spear Study Club, a group of dentists focused upon excellence in the treatment of complex, multi-disciplinary adult dental cases. Dr. Gordon also served on the Forsyth Hospital Cleft Lip & Palate team when it was still active, providing specialized orthodontic care to patients with serious craniofacial abnormalities.
