Golden Tree Maintenance

Visited with Liz on Saturday for recommendations on gravel/ rock. Monday morning 8 a.m. Josh was delivering. Prices, customer service were excellent. Will be working with them again in the spring for top soil and mulch for the yard. Great group of people.

I do NOT recommend at all!!! This company came on to my property (without my permission, consent or even knowledge) and cut down my 20ft. PRIVACY shrubs because my neighbor (who I need the privacy from) asked them to cut them. They didn't bother to check and see if the Owner minded and took it upon themselves to do whatever they wanted. Not to mention the crappy job they did, cutting 20ft. tall shrubs to 6ft. and displacing several varieties of bird families, that my yard’s eco-system relies on. When I called to ask who authorized them to cut MY shrubs the job supervisor, Chris, had the audacity to tell me that it's my fault because I "didn't go out and tell them to stop"! Are you kidding me? If this is the way they do business then I couldn't ever, in good conscience, recommend them to anybody. When I asked to speak to the owner I was given the run-around. They did say they will come back out and "deep root fertilize" them... but that'll be in "about 2 weeks"... we'll see if they actually do. Pissed is an understatement about how I feel about this company! I would leave Zero stars if possible.

These guys are overpriced and rude, when they quoted me for trimming trees ( 2) and shrubs it was $500 dollars! I cut it back as I could not afford that amount and they never did the original request of cutting the mistletoe out of my front yard tree ( an Elm) Mistletoe will eventually kill a tree and although I did not get that they did all the other work..I paid them and then requested they come back and cut out the mistle toe.......they refused. I called twice about it and wrote it on my bill, yet they ignored me. Then I called and thier receptionist said they would come, they NEVER did! Therefore I had to pay twice, I hired another service which was wonderful and paid them. Goldentree owners are very bad businessmen and I was very unhappy with their service.
