Whole Body Treatment – Treating sports injuries effectively means recognizing that the human body is an integrated system, and that healing those injuries may take more than simply addressing the primary cause. When one part of the body is injured, we tend to compensate for that by placing additional demands on other body parts to take up the slack, and pretty soon, it’s a chain reaction of pain and inefficiency. Our bodies cannot function correctly unless each part is doing what it was designed to do, and everything is correctly aligned. Chiropractic adjustments help bring the body back into alignment, beginning with the spine.
Spinal Adjustments
Chiropractic focuses on spinal adjustments and manual manipulation, with a goal of better aligning the spinal column. These treatments are increasingly regarded as a helpful treatment for lower back pain and are often recommended in the earliest stages of treatment.Focusing on abnormal vertebrae, the treatments aim to reduce nerve irritability, improve functioning, and increase range of motion.
Nutritional Consultation

Manipulation Therapy
Most chiropractors discourage the long-term use of drugs as a treatment measure for back pain; an occasional anti-inflammatory for acute pain can be helpful though. However, they do advocate the use of alternating cold packs to numb the area and heat packs to restore blood flow and promote healing. In addition, the doctor may suggest dietary changes to help with weight loss and may also suggest supplements after spinal manipulation sessions.

Pediatric Chiropractic
Dr. Jennifer Brill earned a degree in Human Biology before attending Cleveland Chiropractic College. She has additional education in Prenatal and Pediatric Chiropractic, including certification in Webster’s Technique.
Flexion Distraction Therapy
Dr. Brandon Fell is originally from Lee’s Summit, MO and graduated from Lee’s Summit North in 2002. He then went on to study at Northwest Missouri State University and graduated with his BS in Biology and a minor in Psychology. He completed his doctoral level work at Cleveland Chiropractic College and has advanced training in Diversified Technique, Graston Technique, Activator Methods, Cox Flexion-Distraction and Leander. He is also a board certified physiotherapist which helps assist him in treating the whole patient. Dr. Fell is married with three kids and enjoys spending time with them as well as playing golf, basketball and tennis in his free time.
