First visit will be my last visit to this place. WAY Overpriced. Better check to make sure your dental insurance is in their network before you go. I have Blue Cross Dental and SURPRISE BC is not in the network and I would have to self pay. They said they could file the bill to BC for me and BC would mail me the check. (2) It was an hour after my appointment time before they actually put me in a room. (3) They used 'conscious sedation' which is what I requested. As soon as I woke up I was escorted (not in a wheelchair but told to get up and walk) to the car. They don't keep you there to make sure you have no reaction to the medicine. Which I did.... I got terribly ill as soon as I got home and my brother called the doctor and he didn't seem to care. Told my brother to take me to the emergency room. The next day I called to find out what mixture of medicine he used for the 'conscious sedation' and they refused to tell me. I told them I needed to know so that if I ever have to have that kind of surgery again, I can inform the doctor not to use that mixture since i had a bad reaction to it. They still refused to tell me. (3) After several weeks and no check from Blue Cross, I called my Blue Cross agency.... they looked up the account and said that the check was mailed to Dr. Hashemian.... upon their request. The clerk at Blue Cross said they specifically marked the box on the form to have the check mailed to them. What kind of SCAM is that??? Are they hoping us old folks will forget and they can steal my money after I already paid for the service? If Blue Cross is NOT in their network, then why is there even an option on the form for the check to be mailed to them? Now I've got to drive all the way back to LeCanto to try to get my money. That's no honest mistake..... it's a scam and someone needs to investigate this place. I wonder how many other old folks were supposed to get a check from their insurance and forgot about it. My opinion is stay as far away from this Doctor as possible. Use the Maxofacial office in Crystal River, that is the one my son used and they were awesome.

I took my son to him for his wisdom teeth extraction. Everything went well. My son only took pain medicine for the 1st day, he was comfortable the rest of the time without any pain medicine. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.
