I received my Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2014 and my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in 2016 both from the University of Cincinnati. Go Cats! While obtaining my Masters I completed research on the impact of early literacy and story telling in preschoolers. I enjoy working with the pediatric population and have experience working with various communication disorders including phonological/ articulation disorders, fluency, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome, cleft palate and pragmatic language groups.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
SM Program, an innovative multi-sensory approach to developmental learning that stimulates the vestibular, visual, and auditory systems simultaneously in order to improve sensory function. Improved communication between these systems works to improve integration of the sensory information resulting in a more adaptive response to input. The Sensory Learning Program is delivering promising results to individuals with varying sensory challenges, including those found in individuals with Autism, Aspergers, ADD, ADHD, Acquired Brain Injury and Learning and Developmental Delays.

Physical Therapists

Physical Therapy
Therapy Learning Center is a pediatric practice offering a variety of services including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech and Language to school based programs. Therapy Learning Center is also a certified provider of the Sensory Learning Program, a 30-day program that stimulates the visual, auditory, and vestibular systems of the body. This program often improves speech, perception, understanding, social interaction, coordinated movement, and the ability to learn.
Occupational Therapy
Susie received her bachelors degree from the Ohio State University in 1985. She has practiced pediatric Occupational Therapy since graduation in a variety of settings including Dayton and Cincinnati Children's Hospitals, nursing care agencies, school settings and private practice. Susie received her training in pediatric neurodevelopmental treatment in 1995. Her interest include infant development, hand skills (casting and splinting), oral-motor and feeding challenges, and sensory dysfunction. Susie has also just competed her REI certification in September 2006.
