I purchased a car from this lot back in March. It did come with a 6-month warranty. Within days of leaving the lot, it had to have three repairs. An Oxygen sensor, the coolant reservoir (that was just put in by the lot) and a spring. That by the way, his shop had three times and never could determine what the problem was. I had to take the vehicle somewhere for the repair. Withing a week or so of that, the vehicle had a short causing the the dash lights to flicker, the wipers to turn off and on by themselves and the battery to slowly drain. He did not help with that repair. Then less than 2 weeks after purchase, the front wheel bearing went out. He did NOT help with that repair. A week later I had to do the front brakes and have the rotors turned. He did NOT help with that. Then another oxygen sensor went out in the engine that controlled airflow to both banks of the engine. He did help with that. Then the ac unit went out. He did NOT help with that. Then... here's the big one... the engine seized. No one can figure why. With no warning whatsoever, it purred like a kitten and then locked up! It's never overheated with me. Never smoked, steamed, clicked clattered, knocked, clanked... it just died. Oil is fine, coolant is fine, water levels are fine. He refuses to help with that. Then said I do not have a warranty and accused me of trying to rip him off! I paid 8 grand for this vehicle less than 5 months ago and have already put close to 3700 dollars in just repairs and towing costs into it just to keep it on the road. That cost does not include regular maintenance of course.

The vehicle was as much of a lemon as a lemon can be. He did offer only once for me to bring it back and change it in on another vehicle, however, he was not about to let that be a straight trade back. I had to come up with a few more grand to be able to do that. A few more grand I didn't have and he knew I didn't have it. He offered one time to upgrade my warranty to cover more stuff... of course at a very steep cost. He continually refused to help with covered repairs and even went so far as to say I opted out of the warranty. I would have never purchased the car without one.

My income is based on my vehicle. If I don't have one, I do not have an income why would I refuse a warranty? Sure if it had a cheap car that I only paid 1 or 2 thousand for. Nope. I paid 8 for this one.

In my opinion, this is not somewhere you should shop for a car. I do not believe that this is an honest lot, at least not as far as I have witnessed with my purchase.

I have been forced to file complaints with the BBB, with the Texas Consumer Protection agency and with the DMV Dealer Fraud department. For any of you that were not aware you can do that, allow me to give you their number 888-368-4689. Anyone that has purchased a car from this lot and is in need of help because of it, contact me! There are things that can be done to help and the more public awareness we have the better.
