Ruffledale Pet Resort & Paw Spa

I love Ruffledale!! My dog is always so timid when I take her to board. The first time I took her to Ruffledale she was timid at first but when I went to pick her up she looked so happy. Now every time I take her she gets so excited to go and comes home happy and healthy. I now take her to daycare occasionally, they gave her a cute birthday cake on her birthday. I know she is well taken care of here and would refer them to everyone.

I have a very old "bully breed" dog who needs lots of extra love and attention, I don't trust anyone but the Ruffledale staff with him! He needs meds, special walks and food often and I know that he gets the care and love that I would give him when he is with these ladies. I know that the staff IS highly trained and responsible. He comes home happy and is always excited to go back to "daycare". We both LOVE Ruffledale!!

I Absolutely LOVE this place!! Every Morning i ask my dogs if they want to go to Daycare they can't wait to get in the car and go! The Girls there are so happy to see every dog and they know them by name! I really am so happy i found this place and would recommend it to EVERYONE!!!!!

This is a wonderful facility!!! The owner is friendly and accommodating! My dogs love it there and when they come home they are tired from playing all day! My dog Jake knows exactly what it means when I say "want to go play with your friends?" It is clean and well maintained; I would recommend it to anyone!!

I feel bad for these people that said they had a bad experience at Ruffledale. I have been boarding my dog there since she was just a pup and she loves it. When we pull up she almost tries to jump out to get into the building. They have a very strict vaccine policy so it surprises me that anybody has had any issues with kennel cough. I would recommend this place to everyone and hope that they will check it out for themselves. The staff is very warm and they know all the dogs by name. I would never leave my dog anywhere else.

Our dog has stayed many times for extended overnight stays at Ruffledale’s and has always done very well there. They are very strict about checking to see if he has his kennel cough vaccinations and he has never come home with the condition. I appreciate their care and caution on this topic.We used to take our dog to the local boarding at the vets and he would come home every time in a neurotic state, which would last for days. With Ruffledale’s, he doesn’t want to leave and comes home very happy and in excellent shape.They seem to separate the dogs by size at feeding times. However, I have noticed during playtime that some smaller dogs are mixed with larger dogs and the real small dogs appear frightened. The little treat bag and report card they provide at the end of the stay is cute.I wish they would take American Express cards.

My dog came home with Kennel Cough, which my vet said is common from Ruffledales! Staff was discourteous and one girl outright rude. Never Again!

They discriminate by BREED and refused to take my 2 dogs simply based on their BREED. They insisted that ALL dogs of my breed chew their walls at NIGHT. My dog chews during the DAY and SLEEPS at night! What dog doesn't chew?! They had problems with one dog and therefore judge the whole breed.

Besides being expensive, they said they wouldn't board my dogs for the weekend because of their breed. I have 2 wonderful AmStaff-mix girls, both trained well. If I had said they were "mutts" or "mixed-breeds," they would take them. They don't take (purebred) AmStaffs, Staffies, or any "bully-type" dog. They do however take Akitas, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Dobermans, and all other breed sometimes associated (sadly) with a bad reputation. Does this make sense?! NO! My dogs are both adopted and (probably) not purebred- but how would they know if I didn't produce a pedigree? Just call them and ask-- If you have a vicious Lab or Golden, they'd take them in anyway. If you have a pure-bred, well behaved American Staffordshire Terrier, they refuse service.

The DISCRIMINATED my dogs based on BREED and refused to board them overnight.They refused to take my dogs based on their BREED with out even meeting them! ANYONE who judges a dog by their BREED should not be in a DOG business!!! I was referred to them by a family member, and I thought the name sounded cute. But when I called, they insisted that my dogs would chew through the wall at NIGHT (while no one was their to watch them) because ALL dogs of my breed do that.... Um, excuse me?! My dog sleeps at night, and chews during the day-- what 10 month old puppy doesn't CHEW?!

We had to go out of town on a family emerengcy over memorial day week end, we called everywhere to try to find somewhere for our dogs to stay. Ruffledale took them at the last minute and even gave us a discount on our second dog! I was a little worried, because they said when their closed the dogs stay in their rooms, and they were closed that sunday and monday, but gal reassured me that even when their closed the gals come in twice a day for at least four hours to let the dogs staying have some play time. When I picked my boys up they didn't even want to come home!

I boarded my dog over Memorial Day- when I took her in they said that the animals are only in their rooms at night time. So bascially from whatever time someone leaves at night until someone comes in the next morning. However being over memorial day they weren't open on Memorial day. So my dog was in her kennel virtually all day Sunday AND Monday except when someone came in the Am and the PM to feed. When I asked about this I was just told that they are not open on Holidays or Sundays. And that was that.

Great service, great prices, and groomers are top notch! They are better than any t store! They have exceptional service, and I hear their kenneling is great from a friend as well!
