Had this company come out through Old Republic. I had to wait a couple of days before an appointment which wasn't a big deal since Georgia weather is, well Georgia weather. The other companies I called had me on an even longer wait list. When the techs, Abid and Miguel, came out they identified the issue and my compressor needs to be replaced. They called it in and handled ordering the part for me. I had another company come out because I forgot to cancel the appointment but they told me the same thing so I just let the original guys come back out since they already took care of so much. I also signed up for American Mechanical's maintenance program because my unit's gotten so dirty and so much debri with the storms lately and want to make sure my unit stays in good condition.

I had several different companies come out and all tell me different things that were wrong with my unit. One even tried to convince me that I needed a whole new system, even though I had just replaced it 3 years ago. I called this company to get a second opinion, they were recommended by a friend. And the two techs who came out were able to walk me through what the issue was. Turned out I had a leak that no one else could find for some reason. I did not need to replace my unit. Its been several weeks now and my system is up and running perfectly. I feel satisfied with the work done.

in the process of repairing my AC a new Thermostat was installed. The unit was defective from the start. it would not hold the temperature program and would default to another temperature. Since i did not have an instruction book I was forced to call American Mechanical. They would not come out for less than $78.
