Kansas Crown Discount Liquor does not deserve one star. The owners are unapologetic ableists who wrongfully accused a disabled woman of shoplifting, called the police to file a report, then deserted their "case" after it had progressed to the court. The court tossed the citation for theft due to the repeated no show of the owners at the court's scheduled proceedings and insufficient evidence. The result of their inhumane treatment toward the wrongfully accused has been far reaching and extremely detrimental to her well being and sense of self worth. To ridicule and add burden to the most vulnerable in our society is unconscionable. They shamed a loyal customer, took away a place of comfort from someone who often suffers harassment due to people lacking a conscience or awareness. I will never patronize this establishment again and further encourage others to shop elsewhere as well. Their service isn't simply "Poor", it is discriminatory.
