MedExpress Urgent Care

Husband went up there close to closing time. They wanted their copay unfront and the doctor spent a grand total of a minute or less and told him he shoukd have went to the er where we spent over 3 hrs and when the doctor there saw him he àsked if he got a medication for the virus, dont really feel like it was worth our time or our insurance money along with the copay. I see why other people say dont go especially close to closing time.

This place is terrible. I went for dot physical and my blood pressure was a bit high the doctor said she would give me a three month temp card and I could come back and get re checked. I was told that as long as I come back before it expired in 3 month there would be no charge. Well I came back and was told they don't do anything like that and I would have to pay for a full physical again.

I went there because I wasn't feeling good.. And I had a fever and shocking and I felt like I was going to throw up.. well they didn't do anything for me.. they check to see of I was pregnant. And that was all and now I am even more sick. Well the doctor blamed why I felt like I was going to throw up on my cyst.. and told me I need to go see someone about them. And I told him I have and that I had surgery on them. And he said I need to go back. I told him that I can't that something happened to me when I was little and he told me that I need to GET OVER IT!! How I am suppose to get over something like that.... so I will never go back there again! And the one women seem like she hated her life.!.

Once seen, staff showed genuine concern and took all needed info. I needed a referral, nausea medication and possible pain medication for headaches not controlled by OTC medication. Price was reasonable however Dr Insisted I return to ER have multiple tests for an Iinjury received 2 wks prior (I have a concussion), wanted me to take an ambulance, refused to allow me to drive and really scared me! ER doctors said testing 2 wks past injury was completely unessesary but did CatScan and EKG plus blood work. I have thousands extra in costs (no Insurance) And nothing was wrong!! I just needed a referral for a specialist, anti nausea medication and a mild pain reliever. I received Nothing other than anti nausea medication. This is at best ok for normal mild illness far from a professional urgent care facility.
