Buffet at Asia

The food is slightly a step above ok. However, the restaraunt is very dirty. The floors were horrible, and the booth I sat at had a dirty brown wall divider, and looked as if sonething was splashed several times, and it never was cleaned off. In front of me was the emergency exit door. The door is lime green color and had a white sign with red wording. The door was horribly dirty and looked as if It had not been cleaned EVER. The stainless steel on each island where the food was presented was dirty, especially around the bottom. The dirt and grime was ridiculously sickening. I lost my appetite and my daughter and granddaughter wanted to leave. I was there only for my granddaughters birthday, and was embarrassed after we were seated. I should had walked out, but my granddaughter wanted to stay for the seafood, which she loves. My thought is this, if your service area is dirty, I am sure your KITCHEN is probably TWICE AS DIRTY. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THE LOCATION AT CHARLESTON COMMONS TO ANYONE EVER !!!! DO NOT EAT IN THAT FILTHY PLACE. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK. IT WAS A WASTE OF $80 .

Great restaurant. The food is always consistently good and the staff is always kind and very attentive. This restaurant does A LOT of business, they are usually always full and that wouldn't be happening if they were no good.

I happened to have a different experience. My friend and I enjoyed our visit yesterday. They have a lot of items on the menu with some shrimps, oysters, and sushi for $6.99 plus drink ($1,29) if you wish, or you can just ask for water. That's not bad at all as compared to other buffet in town. One thing I noticed is that they only give you a fork; no knife or spoon. I believe that they are getting better, especially to think that Dragon Beffet (across the street) has shut down. I've seen others eating ice cream with a plastic spoon. As far as customer service is concerned, they need to learn "service with a smile" -which is very important in such a business. I believe they will improve with time if they are reading these reviews.

DON'T EAT HERE YOU WILL GET SICK!! I took my family out and my husband, myself (and I'm 8 months pregnant) and my 1 year 7 month old son got terribly sick that same night. No flavor and ice cream machine was not working. I called to complain and they barely spoke English let alone they had no phone greeting. No compassion either not a sorry what can I do. All the so called manager said was if we went to the doctor to prove it was their food. So save your time, money and tummy ache from flavor less food that will get you ill. If I could put 0 stars I would. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!
