In addition, I am the Medical Director of Heartland nursing home in Moline, where I still see my patients. I take pride in providing this type of comprehensive care, since very few primary care doctors still do that. I work closely with six other knowledgeable internal medicine doctors, and together we have over 75 years experience.

During that time I worked for Hinzman Construction as a laborer and became well acquainted with all aspects of the construction industry. After graduating college I attended Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where I developed a passion for Obstetrics and Gynecology. I completed my residency at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in OB/GYN. I am excited to be back in my hometown to serve the Quad Cities area. My wife, Laura, and I enjoy the outdoors. In our spare time we love fishing, cycling, skiing and traveling.

We also specialize in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancers on the face and are a prominent skin surgery referral center for other dermatologists and primary care physicians in western Illinois and eastern Iowa.
