CooperSadie13, Mamm ,you know that your reservation was for a party of 7 at 6:00pm and u where 30 minutes early for you reservation. Also only 4 of the 7 guests In your party where present. When I spoke with u on the phone u demanded that u should of been sat at 5:30 and asked why you couldnt be sat since u made your reservation a week ago. Some guests seem not to understand that we cannot rush the guests before them or keep tables empty for hours so early arrivals can be sat right away. Also we cannot seat partial parties, because then we lose revenue by wasting seats if the rest of the party does not show up, which happens quite often.. On the other hand mamm , after reviewing the survallience cameras, you where sat at exactly 6:04pm. Arriving early and waiting 30 minutes for the rest of your guests to arrive 30 minutes before your reservation was scheduled in no way suports your statement that u waited 30 minutes beyond your scheduled reservation. We also did not follow our own policy and sat 4 of your seven guests in your party to keep you from continually complaining and making a scene why your table wasn't ready . Your table was ready, exactly at 6pm but we had to clean it and reset it. We are a small 100 seat restaurant and every single seat had a guest in it that evening, so we apologize that the seating got tight but you also added on more guest to your party at the last minute, and the rest of the larger tables where taken. We could not disobey fire codes or handicap regulations by putting a chair on the end of table, which you also got upset about. I'm sorry to see you didn't enjoy your visit. I apologize that we weren't able to seat you at the time Exactly at 6pm . I'm surprised to hear you say our food was only slightly better than Olive Garden. The vast majority of our guests rave about their meals, and when I went by your table, which i do every night as the owner and chef.i asked how dinner was,and the guests in your party said it was great. Regardless of what you think of our food's taste, I can assure you that we are using fresher and higher quality ingredients. Our prices are not double of those at olive garden either, 80% of our menu is 14.50 to 19.95. II Think that you may be just adding these statements to your review, because you did not like it when I told you waiting 30 minutes before you reservation time, because you were early , is not our fault. I also personally make trips to Maine and the docks here on-the west coast to hand pick all of our seafood. I'm disappointed that your server didn't do a better job by being able to read your mind , that you birthday cake from an outside bakery. I'm sorry if you felt like we let you down, but after reviewing the tapes, the service and timings of your entrees, and drinks, the service couldn't of been more perfect. I apologize but it's my opinion that in this instance the customer is not always right.
