First United Methodist Church

I like it that this church is very welcoming. It emphasizes God's grace and has a very positive and joy filled approach. They are very active in the community, providing meals for those in need during the week. Highly recommend this church.

This is an awful church! My wife and I went with our 5 month old son a few Sundays ago. We initially took my son to the nursery, but got called mid-way through service because he was crying (he needed a diaper change) and we thought that was the purpose of the nursery, that we could enjoy God's Word and have our son's need handled for a short period of time. We took him back into service with us and the generation gap became apparent (this church is not for families, but more of a blue-haired crowd) because the elders sitting near us made their dislike of our son's happy gurgles very noticeable. He wasn't crying or screaming, just happy to have his fuzzy monkey. Sufficient to say, my family and I will not be going back to this church- does anyone have suggestions for another?
