Aspen Dental

Okay, first-off, let me start with this: I hate the dentist. Hate it.
I would rather run through the desert naked, without water, for 9 days than go to the dentist.
However, I HAD to go... because of Covid19 of all things! With me wearing the masks all the time, I could SMELL MY OWN BREATH, and it was gross.

Turned out, I have a mild/moderate case of Gum Disease, I'm gross, I know.
Anyways, the Dentist (a cute brunette female in her 30's or early 40's, I've forgotten her name) could tell I was uneasy, and she did EVERYTHING in her power to help me through it. Consequently, she took what should have been a nearly TRAUMATIZING experience and made it into something approaching
"not bad." She. Is. Awesome.

Furthermore, the ENTIRETY of the staff was SO WARM and WELCOMING. The girl who did my x-rays was amazing, thoughtful, kind. NONE of them SHAMED ME or made me feel embarrassed about my teeth. I'm SO thankful for that.

Lastly, I'm in a INCREDIBLY vulnerable state-of-mind when I go to the dentist, truly. And, each of them did their DAMN best to help me through it.

I am thankful to each of them. They performed the procedure and I feel so much better. (Though, when that novacaine wore-off, for about 2 hours, omg, brutal.)

My appt was at 8:00, didn't get in until 8:30 to get xrays done, the dentist left me in the chair from 9:05 until 9:30, when the assistant walked by I asked how much longer because I had to be at work at 10:00, she said it would be quite awhile, he had gone into surgery with another patient. Who does that, leaves one patient hanging to take care of another? Not happy with their service at all! I will not be going back, I can't trust that I will be getting the care I deserve.
