The Lakewood Lodge and Restaurant is a country inn offering guest comfort in our 15 room lodging facility, with onsite restaurant and lounge. Rooms with private entrances are available in the main Lodge, and our onsite Carriage House. The Carriage house features two larger rooms equipped with efficiency kitchens, outdoor decks and living areas. Other rooms are available inside the main Lodge. We purchased the lodge in the fall of 2013 and have made many updates: updated and expanded restaurant kitchen, new restaurant restrooms, and a new outdoor pavilion that offers outdoor dining with a view of our beautiful countryside. We are located directly on the O&W Trail of this area's Rails-to-Trails system, so we offer many outdoor recreation activities from our doorstep: hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ATV riding and snowmobiling. We've improved our auxiliary parking area for guests to park their ATV or snowmobile trailers. We are located 20 minutes from the Elk Mountain Ski Resort and provide equipment storage onsite. We are also located 15 minutes from world class trout fishing on the West Branch of the Delaware River.
